Our journey began in 1990 when Janice Christo took ownership of her first agency in Somerville’s Teele Square. Michele, Janice’s sister, joined the agency shortly thereafter, and her brother Stephen became part of the team a few years later. In 2012, Janice combined her agency with her husband’s, Tyrrell Insurance Agency of Concord, after his untimely passing. After relocating to Belmont, the Christo Insurance Group acquired Pequossette Insurance and Ivanhoe Insurance, both highly respected family-owned agencies. With proud roots in Belmont, Concord and Somerville, the Christo Insurance Group is privileged to serve the families and businesses of our local community.
